No counters, no surprises. Here is exactly how a KEY’D rental works before you reserve.
- What do I need to rent from KEY'D?
- A valid driver's licence, proof you're 25 or older, and either your own full-coverage policy with rental extension or KEY'D coverage. Everything is uploaded during the reservation — nothing to email us.
- Why is KEY'D coverage $89 per day?
- Exotic and luxury vehicles carry replacement values many times a normal rental. Our policy covers the car at that value, includes liability limits our owners require, and removes the need for you to file against your personal policy. If you already carry full coverage with rental extension, upload the card instead and skip the fee.
- How much is due when I book?
- A flat $50 holding fee locks your dates on the calendar. The rental balance is due three days before delivery, and a refundable security hold is placed at handover.
- Is the holding fee refundable?
- No. The $50 removes the car from the calendar for everyone else, so it is non-refundable. Date changes are handled case by case when the calendar allows.
- Where do you deliver?
- Miami Beach, Brickell, Downtown, Coral Gables, MIA and FLL, plus Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Fees are shown by zone before you reserve; core Miami delivery is included.
- What about mileage and fuel?
- Each car includes a daily mileage allowance shown on its page. Additional miles are billed at the listed per-mile rate. Cars are delivered fuelled and returned at the same level.
- Can I add a second driver?
- Yes, with prior approval — the additional driver must meet the same age, licence, and insurance requirements. Mention it in the notes on your reservation.
